Bamboo Takes The Runway
Bamboo
has moved from forests to fashion. IM Men, part of the Issey Miyake universe,
looked to misty bamboo landscapes and traditional Japanese katazome dyeing for
its S/S 2027 collection. The result? Criss-cross bamboo-inspired hats and chest
pieces, ink-wash denim and shadowy bamboo motifs.
