D’Decor Strengthens Home Furnishing Business With Appointment Of Shailesh Joshi As AVP Sales & Marketing

D’Decor has appointed Shailesh Hasmukhbhai Joshi as Assistant Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Furniture and Furnishings, reinforcing its leadership team at a time when India’s home furnishing market is witnessing strong expansion.

Based at the company’s Mumbai headquarters, Joshi will lead business development and market expansion initiatives across furniture and furnishing categories. Industry sources noted that he brings more than 27 years of experience spanning strategy, channel management, key account development, domestic sales and export marketing within the home textiles sector.

Throughout his career, Joshi has held leadership positions at prominent organisations including V&J Furnishings, Sutlej Textiles, Siyaram’s, PCM Bedding and Mudra JQ. He is widely recognised for building extensive distribution networks, strengthening customer relationships and driving revenue growth across furnishing and upholstery fabric markets.

The appointment comes amid rising demand for premium home décor products in India. The country’s home textiles market is projected to exceed US$ 13 billion by 2030, supported by urbanisation, housing growth and increasing consumer spending on interior décor solutions.
