ZDHC Hosts Its First Regional Conference In India

As part of its regional activities, the ZDHC Foundation will host a conference with the theme "Accelerating Sustainable Chemical Management - Connecting the Dots" on February 13, 2019 at The Lalit Hotel in Mumbai, India. The conference will see all stakeholders of the textile value chain - including ZDHC Signatory Brands, manufacturers, chemical industry, partner organisations and service providers - discuss and debate on the three "I"s … Integration, Implementation and Innovation in sustainable chemical management practices. The conference will have presentations from Executive Director, ZDHC, Frank Michel, Christina Raab, Implementation Director, ZDHC, Punit Lalbhai, Executive Director, Arvind Ltd. Dr. Prasad Modak, a globally recognised environmental expert, has also accepted to give a talk on 'Chemicals and Circularity'. Dignitaries from reputed textile and chemical associations in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka would also be present at the event. The conference will have three different sessions: Session 1: Integrating sustainable chemical management into the business strategy Session 2: Implementing best practices for chemical management in manufacturing processes Session 3: Encouraging innovations in sustainable chemistry Registration to this event can be made through the "Events" tab on the ZDHC website www.roadmaptozero.com and the delegate fee can be paid through credit card or PayPal. The delegate fee is Euro 80/- per person with an Early Bird fee of Euro 65/- per person when registration is done before 15th January 2019.
