India enhances export benefits under FPS

From August 15, 2013, an additional 158 items will benefit under the Focus Product Scheme. The ministry of commerce and industry recently amended the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14, to include these items, which will be entitled for a 2% duty credit scrip.

Some of the textile products that have been included are yarns and fabrics made from jute and other textile bast fibers, sacks and bags of textile materials.
