What's new from Dynamic Autolooms?

We have the flexible rapier looms which features Electronic Let-Off, Electronic Take Up, Electronic Dobby, Electronic Jacquard and Electronic Colour Selector. All these electronic mechanisms are synchronized with each other. Mainly, Electronic Let-Off and Electronic Take Up are incorporated with facets which are useful to remove / tackle starting mark damage (like Aantari / Open Space & Dhagli / Closed Space). Using ELO & ETU and their Parameters like Forward Kick, Reverse Kick, “ON” Delay, “OFF” Delay, Weavers can make defect free fabrics. Continuous Movement of Let-Off and Take Up, 5 Variable Densities, Cramming & Fringing, all these Golden Petals can unfolds value addition weaving designs. We have indigenously developed our electronic solutions at the Dynamic campus in Ahmedabad.

How have you positioned your weaving machines in this competitive market?

We are trying to bridge the gap between conventional technology and high-end electronic European machines. So, existing customers, who have been running shuttle looms, rapier looms with mechanical Let-Off and Take Up, Chinese looms since the last several years, will be able to make high quality fabrics which are presently possible to produce only by using European machines. You might well know that the cost of all European machines is very high. Therefore, our aim is to enable our customers weave similar fabric on our looms. We have used six different types of weft yarns - cotton, zari and different fancy polyesters. We have included six different weaves as well as five different densities with fringing (no insertion of weft / Empty Pick). The idea is to enable our customers weave the maximum variety of fabrics on our looms.

So, Dynamic is providing cost effective technology up-gradation solution to existing customers?

We have developed our flexible rapier looms based on feedback which we have received from our existing customers. They feel the need for such products, which can give mileage to their business. They need to upgrade the technology in order to stand adjacent to european technology. As I have mentioned, we have interacted with our customers for feedbacks. They have told us that a major problem is non-availability of labour. Also, since the past few years, several types of fancy yarns are available in the market and fabric designs have varied. Due to the limitations of the looms, many of these fabrics cannot be woven and therefore, we have developed the flexible rapier loom with value added features as mentioned earlier which would satisfy the customer's needs.

How large is your customer base in India?

We already have an installed base of around 1 lakh looms.

How indigenous is your research and development effort?

Our research and development efforts are totally indigenous. All the electronics in our machine has been developed at Dynamic's facilities in Ahmedabad based on customer feedback. It is a team effort by our engineers.

Any new development coming from Dynamic Looms?

Yes, we plan to launch a new product very soon which is an electronic velvet loom. It is again a nice product meant for weaving only velvet fabrics.
